ADRIAN, MI — A new adidas Tennis Camp is set to take place this summer at Adrian College, providing players ages 5–18 with an opportunity to improve their game through a fun, structured, development-focused training experience.
Directed by Patrick Giammarco, Tennis Fix System creator, certified Racquet Sports Professionals Association (RSPA) tennis instructor, and Head Boys Tennis Coach at Perrysburg High School, the camp is designed to go beyond traditional drill-based formats by helping players build skills that translate directly into match play.
The camp will focus on a complete approach to player development, including technical stroke instruction, movement and footwork training, competitive match play, and mental performance strategies such as routines, focus, and confidence under pressure.
“Many camps focus on reps and drills, but our goal is to help players actually improve in a way that carries over into competition,” said Giammarco. “We focus not just on what to do, but how players improve and transfer those skills into matches. At the same time, we want players to enjoy the experience, build confidence, and have fun throughout the week.”
The timing of the camp provides a valuable opportunity for players across the region. With Michigan high school girls’ tennis season recently concluded and boys’ season beginning in August, players are often motivated to continue developing their skills and gain a competitive edge heading into the high school season.
Players of all skill levels are encouraged to attend, and instruction will be tailored to ensure appropriate grouping by age and ability level.
